OVV is a rental apartment franchise company that has been using Komu for almost a year. Initially, Komu was used only in Tampere, but it turned out to be so handy that its use has been extended to other offices in the chain throughout Finland. The suggestion to do so came from CEO entrepreneur Päivi Ronkainen, who even now says that she can happily recommend the service to entrepreneurs and to any real estate operator who does housing inspections.
OVV uses Formup both internally when inspecting apartments and also as a service to landlords. In both cases, it is used in move-in and move-out inspections. For example, when a resident moves in, they will be sent an email with a link to a Formup form. According to Ronkainen, they had used an electronic system previously but Formup's operational reliability has been significantly better than the older system’s. Because so many inspections are done monthly, no unreliable or paper-based process is an option.
According to Ronkainen, the program has worked well and that "it's basically the most important thing." There have been no complaints from employees or customers, which, in her opinion, is an indicator of success. A versatile, stable, and well-working application is all that she needs. Ronkainen also likes how easy, simple and handy the service really is. “When customers and employees don’t complain, I’m satisfied. Completed forms are dropped into the email all the time, ” Ronkainen describes her own user experience.
Formup has suited well to entrepreneurial corporate culture. Ronkainen has been particularly impressed with Formup’s desire to innovate and develop continuously. Both companies also value the customer highly: We want to make sure that the customer is satisfied and that the processes work. "The customer orientation and Formup's way of doing things were what amazed us," Päivi concludes and says that she is also very satisfied with the way her company's needs have been listened to. The first time they tried Formup, it didn’t quite fit the needs of the company, but “after some changes, it has been a success story.”
